l'oréal sand crystal

Long, long ago, in a far-off land called Boots, a girl wandered in through it's majestic gates (those sensor things that detect if you've stole something). She knew never to venture near the market stall of L'Oréal, for they sold goods beyond her meagre earnings. However, she had just been paid, and a sign proclaimed "Here ye, here ye, all wares are 3 for 2". She could not resist. Dun-dun-duuuuuun!
Ahem. Unfortunately the girl in the story, in her joy, forgot that she doesn't like nude lip products as they make her look washed out and bleugh (sorry, couldn't think of a better word). So this lipgloss was confined to the back of her lipgloss drawer, never to see the light of day, hoping that one day she will review it.
The transparent packaging clearly showcases the colour, so no confusion if you own more than one shade! Personally, I love doe-foot applicators. I know some people prefer lip brushes, but for me it's so much easier to apply the product with a doe-foot applicator, unless it's a really bold colour.
The shade Sand Crystal is a mid-toned nude with a lot of shimmer. Being a lipgloss, you expect it to be pretty sheer, and you aren't let down. Definitely a colour that would look best over a lipstick in a similar shade.

Sand Crystal
As I don't particularly like nude lipglosses, that kinda downgrades my rating a bit. I like the formula, it's not very sticky, lasts as long as an average lipgloss and I will repurchase, but in a different colour.
Buy: L'Oréal Paris Glam Shine Lipgloss in Sand Crystal 06, £7.69

So that was my third review in a row, if you have any suggestions for a different type of blog post, please leave it in the comments because the gears in my brain aren't whirring fast enough to produce ideas!
