notd | newspaper nails

3 coats
The look is surprisingly easy to do - when your nail polish is completely dry, dip your finger in vodka or rubbing alcohol for about two minutes. Some people say you only need to do this for thirty seconds, but I tried it on a few nails and the writing was too faint for my liking (see index finger) - maybe this works for rubbing alcohol? Then press your nail (quite hard) into a small piece of newspaper for another two minutes. Peel it off carefully and ta-dahh! Remember to apply a top coat, though, as the ink will wear off otherwise.
The best nail turned out to be on my right hand. First time that's ever happened.

It's no way as difficult as nail art, and doesn't require nail art pens or anything messy, and looks so professional(in my opinion). It's also is easy to do on both hands, does anyone else do a decent job of one hand and completely botch up the other?
