You may remember that a while back I did a review on a Rimmel Colour Rush quad (here) and I was not too impressed to say the least. I saw this trio in a pound shop and thought that I'd give the Rimmel Colour Rush line another chance, after all it's only a pound.
The packaging is your usual see-through case, you can see the colour easily, but it's not exactly pretty and feels a bit flimsy.
Modern Blues is, well, a palette of blue eyeshadows. The lightest shade is a very light creamy white, the middle is an icy, cool blue and the bottom shade is a dark blue that looks navy when swatched.
The shadows give off average pigmentation, much better than the last palette I tried though. They are also quite hard to the touch, and I found them rather powdery.

I like the look of the dark blue, I love finding eyeshadow items in the £1 shops its a good way to test out colours :-)

DeleteLooks so pretty in the palette! Doesn't seem bad overall for only a cheap drugstore product!
