Sadly this manicure is short lived, as I type my nails are bare on account of it chipping really badly on my other hand. I don't think it's the Revlon nail polish's fault, Revlon always makes good nail polishes, I think I applied too many coats of base coat, and that made the layers of nail polish too thick and it simply peeled off.
Anyhoo, I wanted to share the design with you because I rather like it, even though it reminds me of wallpaper.
There should be no more than four on each nail, otherwise it'll look crammed.
And to avoid all the nails looking exactly the same, paint the first stripe anywhere, so when you come to do the others, judge it from the distance from the stripe you just painted.

This reminds me of a lot of things....mint humbugs, wallpaper, curtains....Do it remind you of anything?
This colour looks so pretty, I sometimes put a bit much on and it just peels straight off, love your 2nd photo - its cute :-)

ReplyDeletethe first few coats streak like crazy, its so annoying. x
DeleteIt now make more sense why my nail varnish peels off easily sometimes. Haha, thank you. I will definitely stop adding coats after two now! I love your nail art as well, really want some of those nail art pens in my life :) xx
