This past month saw me flying down to the big smoke for a few days and doing a couple semi-touristy things, like taking in a tour of the BBC's Broadcasting House which for the most part was enjoyable, if not a little patronising (I mean of course that thing is a damn microphone and no I don't need to be reminded who Bruce Forsyth is thank you very much). Although half the time I was a little distracted as I couldn't stop humming that Austin Powers song in my head - which was pretty appropriate seeing as the whole 60's theme stayed throughout the trip as both the shows I saw were loving rip-offs of 60's pop culture. I was expecting Let It Be to have some sort of storyline instead of being a tribute act - not that I'm complaining, listening to Beatles songs live for two hours is an extremely enjoyable way to spend an evening and the second show I saw was Spamalot - simply perfect. They've taken Monty Python and the Holy Grail (tis my favourite film don'tyaknow) and made it better - or maybe I'm just a bit biased as the funniest part were when the actors kept cracking up. And Michael Palin was in the front row (four rows in front of me, what.)
I've got something new for "teh blogz" that will be appearing shortly, so stay tuned.

I would love to go to London. I bought the first book in the chaos walking trilogy recently but haven't read it yet. How are you enjoying the series?
